The “Democracy and Rights” research group has been running for almost 10 years, carrying out research into: Rights Theory; Theory of Democracy; Republicanism and Nationalism. Its channel for public expression, both for scientific meetings and publications, has been until now the Universidad de Jaén’s Seminario de Estudios sobre la Democracia [“Seminar on Studies of Democracy”] and this has now become a “El tiempo de los derechos” Consolider Ingenio 2010 laboratory.
